Terms for using Gulf Pip Desk
Short terms, in plain words: information, not advice - and how the money works.
Updated Oct 2026 · how we rate brokers
The risk side of this
Leveraged forex and CFD trading can lose you more than a small share of your deposit, quickly. Most retail accounts lose money. What a licence shows is that a firm is supervised. It does not show that your money is safe from trading losses, and no page on this site should be read as suggesting that it is.
Whether a position moves against you is a separate question from supervision and solvency. A CMA licence speaks to how a firm must hold client money, report and handle complaints; it says nothing about the market. The arithmetic below decides how long a position survives, and every broker applies it the same way: leverage sets the margin, and the margin sets how small a move takes it.
Where the line runs
- General information about how licensing and trading work
- That is what this site publishes
- A recommendation of a broker, a pair or a position size
- Not here, and not by mail
- Anything adjusted to your income, debts or tolerance for loss
- We do not know them and never ask
- Advice as the CMA defines it
- A regulated activity; we are not licensed for it
If you want advice, take it from someone the CMA authorises to give it.
Third-party sites
We link to regulators, exchanges, central banks and brokers. No endorsement is implied by a link, and this holds above all for links to warnings about a firm; those sites are not under our control and their published material is not our responsibility.
What decides the question is the CMA register and a broker's own terms, so the most important links are to those documents, and ours is only a reading of them. Should the source and this site conflict, the source prevails, and we welcome hearing from you about it.
| Party | What it sees | Why it is there |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare Pages | The request, your IP and browser string, in its own logs | It serves the files |
| api.gold-api.com | The request your browser makes for a price | A live quote on the page |
| api.binance.com | The request your browser makes for a price | A live quote on the page |
| api.twelvedata.com | The request your browser makes for a price | A live quote on the page |
| api.coinbase.com | The request your browser makes for a price | A live quote on the page |
| The broker, after you follow a partner link | Whatever its own site collects, under its own policy | You left this site |
None of it passes through us, and we build no profile from any of it.
Using what is here
Read it, print it, quote it with a link back. Avoid republishing whole pages as your own, and avoid scraping the site to rebuild it elsewhere. The register extracts are taken from public records and belong to no one; the writing surrounding them is our own.
Questions about reuse, and anything else about these terms: contact@gulfpipdeskae.com.
| Step | What happens | When |
|---|---|---|
| 1 · You write | The page address and what the correct value is | Any time |
| 2 · We check it | Against the public source you name, not against our own page | Same week |
| 3 · The page changes | The figure is replaced and the page says it was corrected | With the date on it |
A number is never quietly edited to leave the page looking as though it always said that.
What these pages are for
Everything on Gulf Pip Desk is general information about how forex trading and broker licensing work in the UAE. It is not financial advice, it is not a recommendation, and it is not an offer. Nothing here is adjusted to your income, your obligations or your tolerance for loss, as we do not know them.
Giving investment advice in the UAE is a regulated activity. We have no licence for it and do not carry it on. If you want advice, take it from someone the CMA authorises to give it.

Funding, in plain words
Some outbound links to brokers are partner links: if you open an account through one, we may be paid by the broker. Nothing on this site changes as a result of the payment, and you pay nothing extra. The register extract is a copy taken from the regulator; no firm can pay to be included in it, to be removed from it or to have its status described differently.
Every partner link appears behind a label giving its destination, and the markup marks it as sponsored. We do not sell editorial placement, and we do not rank brokers.
| What it is | How it is marked | Who pays |
|---|---|---|
| A partner link to a broker | Marked sponsored, behind a label saying where it goes | The broker may pay us if you open an account |
| The register extract | Copied from the regulator | Nobody can pay to be in it, out of it, or described differently |
| Everything else on the page | Not for sale | No editorial placement, no paid ranking |
You pay nothing extra for using a partner link, and the payment changes nothing on the page.
How accurate this is
Registers change daily, brokers change their terms, and a page is a snapshot of the day it was written. We say where what we publish came from and when, so you can verify it at the source, the only version that is current.
The site is not warranted to be complete, error-free or uninterrupted. Where a figure matters to a money decision, verify it against the CMA register or the broker's own documents before acting on it.
What would make this page change
- An analytics tool, a pixel or a tag manager
- Page changes before it ships, not after
- A form, a comment box or a login
- Page changes, and says what the form stores
- A saved preference, even a harmless one
- Page changes: that is local storage
- A new price or image service called by your browser
- Named on this page, with what it sees
- Nothing of the sort added
- Page stays as it is, and so does the date on it
Everything above is checkable without trusting us: the storage and network tabs of your own browser say what any page here actually does.
